Fantastic Fundraising!

Oxford Half MarathonThe end of the year is a great time to take stock and look back on achievements over the year. In 2019 we have had a fantastic year of fundraising for charity. This year we supported Homeless Oxfordshire as our charity partner, Alzheimer’s Society and Style Acre. All of these charities have a special place in You HR’s heart and we’d like to thank everyone who has supported us and donated to raise such an amazing amount of money this year.

In 2014/15, the HSE (Health, Safety Executive) research showed that 16 million people were experiencing mental ill health problems each year and stress was a key factor with 440,000 people (40% of all work-related illness) in the UK reported work-related stress at a level they believed was making them ill.   A poll that You HR recently ran showed that an overwhelming majority found workload caused them the most stress.  Psychological problems, including stress, anxiety and depression, are behind one in five visits to a GP.
